Our Mission

Starting from humble beginnings in 2016, we walked the trainer car parks at the races offering to help rehome the sensational athletes who may be ready to retire. We didn't know how we would achieve this at the time, but we were determined to be a part of the process.

We worked with social media platforms and together with dedicated voluntary foster homes across New Zealand, Greyhounds had an opportunity to unwind from their careers and experience the benefits of pet life!

With these amazing relationships formed, each Greyhound is placed into a foster family’s home for approximately 4-6 weeks to allow them time to adjust to home life. And with this, it gives us time to understand each dog’s characteristics and quirks to better match them to their forever home.
